Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
Atlas turns one long video into short clips and posts them to the accounts you connect. Right now atlasclips.app is a waitlist, and the only thing we ask for is your email address — used to tell you when Atlas opens, and nothing else. This policy explains that, and what will apply to your information once you start using the app itself.
Who we are
Atlas is a video clipping and cross-posting tool available at atlasclips.app. In this policy, “Atlas”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the person who builds and operates that service.
Legal entity
Atlas is not currently a registered company. It is operated by Racson Iglesias, an individual based in Florida, United States. If Atlas is incorporated, this policy will be updated with the company’s registered name and address, and the change will be noted at the top of this page.
Contact for privacy questions
Email privacy@atlasclips.app. We aim to respond within 30 days, and sooner where the law requires it.
Information we collect
We collect as little as we can. What we hold about you depends on whether you have only joined the waitlist or are actually using the Atlas app.
Information you give us
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and nothing else — no name, no company, no phone number. When Atlas launches and you create an account, we will also collect what is needed to run that account: your sign-in details, handled by our authentication provider; your plan and payment status, handled by our payment processor, which means we never see or store your full card number; and the videos and other content you upload to be clipped.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the waitlist form, our server briefly records your IP address so it can count how many submissions have come from that address in the past hour. It is used only to block abuse, it is never stored alongside your email address, and it is deleted automatically within one hour. This site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views without cookies, without fingerprinting, and without following you to other websites. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security purposes.
Information from connected social accounts
This does not apply to the waitlist. Once Atlas launches, if you choose to connect an account such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or X, we receive an access token from that platform along with the basic profile information and post performance metrics needed to publish on your behalf and show you your analytics. We only ever access accounts you connect yourself, we request the narrowest permissions the platform offers, and disconnecting an account revokes our access to it.
How we use your information
We use waitlist emails for one purpose: to email you about Atlas — launch news, early access, and occasional product updates. We do not sell, rent or trade your email address, and we do not share it with advertisers. Once you are an Atlas user, we use your information to provide the service (turning your videos into clips, publishing to the accounts you connect, showing you how those posts performed), to bill you, to keep the service secure, and to answer you when you get in touch. We do not use the video content you upload to train our own AI models.
Legal basis for processing
If you are in the UK, the EU/EEA, or another region with similar law, our legal bases for handling your information are: your consent, for sending you waitlist and product email, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing; performance of a contract, for providing Atlas to you once you have an account; and our legitimate interests, for keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, and understanding aggregate traffic to this site.
Data retention
We keep waitlist emails until Atlas launches and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to remove yours — whichever comes first. The IP records used for rate limiting are deleted automatically within one hour. Once the app launches, account information is kept for as long as your account is open and for up to 90 days after you close it, and uploaded source video and generated clips are deleted on the schedule shown in the app. We may keep a minimal record of a deletion request itself, so that we can show we honored it.
Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK, California, or another region with specific privacy law, you may also have the right to receive a copy of your data in a portable format, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
Access, correction and deletion
Email privacy@atlasclips.app from the address you signed up with and tell us what you want done. We will confirm your identity in a reasonable way before acting, and respond within 30 days.
Marketing emails and the waitlist
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the waitlist entirely. You can also simply reply and ask us to take you off.
Disconnecting social accounts
Once the app launches, you can disconnect any connected account from your settings at any time. Doing so revokes our access token immediately and stops all publishing to that account. You can also revoke our access from the platform’s own settings.
Security
Traffic to atlasclips.app is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Waitlist emails are held in a database that is not publicly reachable and that only the operator can query. Access to production systems is limited to the operator and protected by two-factor authentication. That said, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach ever affects your information, we will notify you, and any regulator we are required to notify, as promptly as the law demands.
International transfers
Atlas is operated from the United States, and our service providers — including Cloudflare — operate globally. If you use Atlas from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your own country. Where required for transfers out of the EU/EEA or the UK, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Children’s privacy
Atlas is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 years old to join the waitlist, and at least 18 — or the age of majority where you live — to hold an Atlas account, because accounts involve payment. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email privacy@atlasclips.app and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as Atlas grows — particularly when the app launches, and if Atlas becomes a registered company. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold about you, we will email you before it takes effect.
