Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 September 2026

Atlas turns one long video into short clips and posts them to the accounts you connect. These terms are the agreement between you and Atlas. Right now atlasclips.app is a waitlist, so most of what follows applies once the app launches and you create an account — but joining the waitlist means you accept these terms too.

Acceptance of these terms

By using atlasclips.app, joining the Atlas waitlist, or creating an Atlas account, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Atlas. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it to these terms.

The service

Atlas is a software service that takes long-form video you upload, uses AI to select and cut short clips from it, generates captions and hashtags, and — where you have connected an account — publishes those clips on your behalf.

What Atlas does

Atlas transcribes your video, identifies the moments most likely to perform, cuts them into clips, and can add captions in the style you choose. It can schedule and publish those clips to accounts you connect, and show you how they did. Atlas is a tool, not a promise: it does not guarantee any level of views, engagement, followers or revenue, and the engagement scores and performance figures it shows are estimates.

Free trial

We may offer a free tier or a free trial. We can change what the free tier includes, or end a trial, at any time. If a trial converts into a paid plan, we will tell you before you are charged.

Changes to the service

Atlas is early software and it will change. We may add, alter or remove features. If we discontinue a feature you are paying for, or shut Atlas down entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and refund any prepaid time you have not used.

Your account

You will need an account to use Atlas once it launches, and you are responsible for what happens under it.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an Atlas account. You must not be barred from using the service under the laws that apply to you, and you must comply with the terms of every social platform you connect.

Account security

Keep your login credentials to yourself. Tell us at hello@atlasclips.app as soon as you suspect someone else is using your account. You are responsible for activity under your account, except where it is caused by a failure on our side.

Connected social accounts

When you connect a social account, you authorize Atlas to publish to it and to read its performance data, within the permissions that platform grants us. You confirm that you own the account or are authorized to act for whoever does. You can disconnect at any time from your settings, which stops all further publishing.

Your content

Your videos and the clips made from them are yours. We need a narrow license in order to process and publish them for you, and nothing beyond that.

Ownership

You keep all ownership of the video you upload and of the clips Atlas produces from it. We claim no ownership over your content.

License you grant to Atlas

You grant Atlas a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transcode, cut, caption and transmit your content, solely so that we can provide the service to you — including sending clips to the platforms you tell us to publish to. This license exists for that purpose only, and it ends when you delete the content or close your account. We do not use your content to train our own AI models, and we will not use it in our own marketing without asking you first.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for holding the rights to everything you upload: the footage itself, any music in it, and the likeness of anyone who appears in it. Do not upload content you do not have the right to publish.

Publishing to third-party platforms

When Atlas publishes on your behalf, you remain the author and publisher of that post. It is yours, and it must comply with the rules of the platform it is posted to. If a platform removes a post or restricts your account, that is a matter between you and that platform.

Acceptable use

Do not use Atlas to create or publish content that is illegal; that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or likeness; that harasses, threatens or defames anyone; that sexualizes minors; that is designed to deceive, including synthetic media of real people presented as genuine; or that breaks the rules of the platform you are publishing to. Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to Atlas or the systems it runs on, resell or sublicense the service without our written permission, or scrape it by automated means. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Plans, billing and cancellation

Atlas has a free tier and a paid Pro plan. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until you cancel.

Pricing

Atlas Pro is $25 per month, or $150 per year billed annually. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any tax we are required to collect. We may change prices, but we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and the change will take effect at your next renewal, never in the middle of a term you have paid for.

Renewal

Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, using the payment method on file, until you cancel. If a payment fails we may retry it, and may suspend Pro features until it goes through.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are currently in, and you keep Pro access until that period ends. Payments are otherwise non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund or where we discontinue something you prepaid for. If you subscribed through Apple’s App Store, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies rather than ours.

Intellectual property

Atlas — the software, this website, the name, the logo and the design — belongs to us and is protected by copyright and trademark law. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Atlas as intended; they do not transfer any ownership to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from Atlas itself. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and without owing you anything — which does not give us any rights over your own content.

Third-party platforms and services

Atlas depends on services we do not control: social platforms, AI providers, hosting and payment processors. Your use of any connected platform is governed by that platform’s own terms and privacy policy, and complying with them is your responsibility. Platforms change their APIs, rate limits and rules without notice, and may reject or remove posts for reasons we cannot see or influence. Atlas is not responsible for a platform’s decisions, outages or data, and a feature that depends on a platform may stop working if that platform changes or withdraws access.

Termination

You can stop using Atlas and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, if your use creates legal risk or harm to other users or to the service, if you fail to pay, or if we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. When your access ends, your right to use Atlas ends immediately; you can ask for an export of your content within 30 days, after which we may delete it. The sections on the content license (as it applies to anything already published), intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law survive termination.

Disclaimers

Atlas is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that Atlas will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that the clips it selects will perform well, that transcripts and captions will be accurate, or that publishing to any platform will succeed. AI output is generated automatically and can be wrong — review your clips and captions before you publish them. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atlas will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost followers, lost data or lost business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the service — even if we had been told such damages were possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to Atlas in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars ($100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Atlas and its operator against any third-party claim, demand, loss, liability or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising from content you upload or publish through Atlas, your breach of these terms, your violation of a social platform’s rules, or your infringement of someone else’s rights. We will tell you about any such claim, and you may control the defense, provided that any settlement affecting us requires our written consent.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you and we each consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing anything, please email hello@atlasclips.app — most problems are faster to fix directly. If you are a consumer whose local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live, this section does not take that right away.

Changes to these terms

We will update these terms as Atlas develops. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect, and continuing to use Atlas after that date means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, cancel your plan and stop using Atlas before they take effect.
